Abstract submission

We offer two options for the submission of contributions to the 7th European Academic Symposium on EAF Steelmaking on 18-20 May 2027:

  • Presentation only
  • Presentation and full paper

In a first step, if you would like to present at the symposium please send us your abstract indicating the kind of contribution. The abstract should be in English and have no more than 2500 characters. For submission please use the form below or send it via e-mail to: seminar@iob.rwth-aachen.de

The deadline for abstract submission is 14th December 2026.

Following the abstract submission, we will invite full papers to be submitted for peer-review until 1st March 2027 and presentations to be submitted until 30th April 2027.
