EASES 2021 successfully completed

After three half days of online presentations from 16-18 June 2021 the 4th European Academic Symposium on EAF Steelmaking was completed successfully. Almost 150 people from all over the world registered for the symposium and up to 70 participants were logged in to presenations at the same time. The programme consisted of 17 presentations in 5 sessions on topics like EAF process modelling, slag conditioning and analysis, and digital transformation of EAF operation. A workshop on the “(Re)use of primary and secondary raw material fines in the EAF” with additional 5 presentations completed the programme. Many presentations are already available for download on the programme page, more will follow soon. We would like to thank all participants, presenters and session chairs for contributing to this successful EASES 2021.
